Job Summary
Myers Capital Hawaii is seeking an organized and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our operations team. You will be the backbone of our loan pipeline, ensuring every file moves smoothly from application through underwriting to closing. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of mortgage processing requirements, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously under deadline pressure.
Responsibilities
- Order and review title, appraisal, VOE, VOD, and other required third-party items.
- Prepare complete and accurate loan packages for underwriting submission.
- Coordinate with originators, borrowers, escrow officers, and title companies.
- Track and actively manage pipeline to meet established closing dates.
- Clear underwriting conditions and ensure all documents meet compliance standards.
- Communicate proactively with all parties to prevent delays and resolve issues quickly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of residential mortgage loan processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA processing requirements.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with LOS platforms (Encompass preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline in a fast-paced remote environment.
